A Trip to the City of Spires with friends; Oxford diaries

As someone that is about to finish high school and needs to start looking for colleges, my friends and I had a view in our mind about what we wanted to do and which college we wanted to go to… We decided that we all wanted to go to one of the colleges in Oxford. Firstly, it’s close to my home, it takes an hour via the subway and that is not a long-distance if I’m only visiting on the weekends, on top of that, if all friends are together, we can just get a minibus hire in Oxford together. My friends and I also wanted to be close, if not in the same college and the number of colleges close-knitted together in Oxford make that easier for us, as instead of dorms, we may all get a house on rent with 12 of us. Yeah, we’re a big group and on this trip, some of us brought someone along making the total number of people 18, for me it was my big brother as he’s the one I like the most out of the whole family, he’s the most understanding.

I myself was looking for a college that will accept me for graphic design while my friends had other things they wanted to apply for. So, we all decided to get a minibus hire in Oxford to show us around the area and all of the colleges, it was basically the same company that provided us transportation from our town, Minibus Hire Now the UK. They offered to give us the tour of the colleges at a discounted price on top of the trip from home to Oxford and we took the bait. When we got to oxford, we took some time to settle into our hotel rooms because we decided to stay for two days. There are 38 colleges in Oxford according to the Google search about the city and we wanted to visit them all, for fun if not for interest.

We finished settling and decided to let the minibus hire in oxford take us to the place these Colleges are located, starting from Hertford College as it seems to be one of the most liked. When we got there it was a surprise to see on the map that most of the colleges were in the same area and that they were all about something different. We all just best to Hertford first, dispersing into smaller groups to check out the places we wanted to. When we finished I could tell that one of my friends, Heather had already chosen this as her best option but the rest of us wanted to explore more. The day was quite hectic and it was over quite fast however as we were having fun exploring different colleges and more than half of my friends had seen where they wanted to go, the rest made up their mind on the second day and it was quite a good time. I myself chose to go to the Ruskin School of art, which seems to have a good digital sector.
